I think I'm gonna go bandana shopping today. Maybe even get some braided leather tassel thingies to hang off the handlebars!

Took the GRE today (a weirdly high number of people don't even know what that is when I bring it up so click this if you're unaware: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gradua...d_Examinations). It was exhausting and I'm just glad it's over with. Scored 154 on verbal (mean is 150) and 156 on quantitative (mean is 152). Didn't get my essays back yet obviously but I thought both were extremely good and that should be my highest score relative to the average. Overall quite happy with the results, those are plenty good enough to get me into the grad schools I'm most interested in.

Grading scale for that thing is so weird. I keep putting mine off but i have a year until i graduate. Im most worried about the essays im incredably slow and anal with my writing. Takes me about 40 mins to an hour per page for normal assignments.

Met up with one of our customers up in Riverside yesterday for lunch. Me and my boss drove up and spent a few hours with the CEO and President. Dude's worth $22 million dollars. He basically the biggest 'rock star' CEO in the mass market consumer electronics industry.

Had lunch first and then went over to his home.:yikes::eek::clap::thumb::crazy::bowdown:

Dudes house is set up high on a hill with an incredible view that's gotta stretch for 50 miles in all directions. Huge wrap around balcony with 4 separate sliding doors for access. Makes the main room seem really open. The main room has a regulation size pool table, a handmade chess set, table and chairs, and a bunch of other cool toys. He's got the biggest wall mounted flat screen and leather sectional I've ever seen in person. And the entire space is littered with trinkets, weapons, statues, etc. he obtained while traveling the world for the past 20 years.

His listening room was instant boner worthy. He must have 2,500 vinyl albums easily along with absolutely top of the line belt driven record turntable, tube amps, and tower speakers. On an end table were 4 or 5 labeled jars filled with top dollar weed. Just taking a whiff from each jar gave me a buzz.

His yard is landscaped so cool with multiple levels and includes a couple of things he's purchased at Coachella festivals through the years. One being this enormous neon Dali-ish spider thing that is fully decked with blinking fluorescent lighting.

Best of all is the guy is super cool and personable. We talked about kids, doing acid, Bobby Fischer, the industry, our spouses, and a bunch of other stuff. All in all a great day except for the drive and occasional downpour.

My daily dose of accomplishment - My year-end finale article is LIVE on my member journal!

It's a feature on the millennial market seachange away from traditional network cable and their embrace of affordable streaming services.

For this piece, I had the fortune of interviewing a local guru of the streaming content market who successfully cut his spending to 1/4 of what he paid for cable and premium networks before making the switch.

This feature will give hope to those who feel trapped by Big Cable and give a voice to the millennials who are changing the way we buy content.

Check it out!

Spent the day getting familiar with my new Chromebook. I needed something light to lug around once our offices are shut down. Working almost entirely in the clouds is a bit of a trip but I kinda dig it. Was a huge bonus to find out that all of the iTunes music I've uploaded via Amazon is accessible via my Prime Cloud on the new laptop.
