Unless her partner's name is "Fox Mulder" then no one cares.

Low blow man. Really low.

I would like to take this opportunity to kiss some federal ass and say, those gotta be the damned most beautiful shoes I've ever imagined. I'd get my own pair, except I know that they wouldn't make my ankles look nearly as graceful as hers.

Brunch with friends from out of town, received my Harry Partch box set in the post, watched a fantastic BBC Four documentary on his life and philosophy, ordered a copy of his book, Genesis of a New Music (1949), drafted a survey for a special feature I'll publish for the year's end and sent them to my contacts.

A nice relaxing Saturday.

Anyone ever use Adobe After Effects? I'm trying to put together a little youtube short, Bakshi style, with a bunch of psychadelic doom to the soundtrack. Still downloading right now but for someone reasonably familiar with Illustrator is it pretty cohesive?

Do you mind if I see some of your Illustrator work actually? Always happy to find another vector artist.

I love Sundays. I've been working like 65 hour work weeks and yet I have every single Sunday off. Why? I happen to work in the one town in the United States that adheres strictly to "Blue Laws". My whole county has blue laws but Paramus in particular has it's own version of them.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_law

Quote:

In the United States, the U.S. Supreme Court have held blue laws as constitutional numerous times due to allegedly secular rationalizations, even though the origin of the blue laws were for religious purposes. Blue laws are technically classed as "mala prohibita," or "harms created solely by the act of legislation" (as opposed to "mala in se" or "inherent wrongs"). Most blue laws have been repealed in the United States, although many states still ban the sale of alcoholic beverages or cars on Sundays. Bergen County, New Jersey is notable for their blue laws banning the sale of clothing, shoes, furniture, home supplies and appliances on Sundays kept through county-wide referendum.[1] Paramus, New Jersey has its own blue laws even more strict than the county itself, banning any type of secular employment on Sundays except necessity items such as food and gasoline.
Makes me appreciate Sundays in a whole new way when it's literally my only time off.

I assume you buy a lotta booze on Saturday nights.

Exo 12-06-2015 08:45 AM

That is correct.
