How the hell is this place still standing after two months of me being gone?
My new career path is looking less and less desirable.

But think about it, you can charge someone $150 for you to visit their office and plug in their computer.

I'd almost wanna pay $150 to not have to deal with that person. Almost.

Unless, of course, said person is a sexy Asian school teacher with a strange fetish for real-life Peter Griffin types.

(Just kidding... No self-respecting Asian wouldn't know how to turn on a computer.)

You're not half the slacker that I thought you were. For shame.

Paying money to not do something? Sounds pretty slackerish to me.

Versus getting paid for doing practically nothing?

I'd still have to get up, go to work, and then talk to people. **** that.

Went to see Fred Frith perform Christian Marclay's 'Chalkboard'.
It's (surprise, surprise) a huge chalkboard onto which the museum's visitors have written and drawn all kinds of stuff.
It was then divided into eight sectors and Frith played music inspired by what was on there.
I couldn't care less about the whole concept behind it, but it was a pretty amazing concert.
Not that different from other Frith concerts I've been to, but the separation into eight pieces was unusual.
It was also fun sitting right next to and gradually moving through the room with him.

I almost hit a deer this morning before dawn. It's a good thing my ABS doesn't work or I'd be looking for a new vehicle. The screech of the tires made the deer jump out of the way at the last second.
