Music Banter - Your Day

That is a motivation indeed, but not for me in all cases. It would only be a motivation for me if they wanted to hear me play my music, not whichever type of music they please. That's kind of what I meant by saying that I play the music that I enjoy.

Face it. You hide behind your self-consciously pretentious music just so you can claim that people just don't "get it" when they rightfully tell you that it sucks. We all know you couldn't hack it otherwise.

If that's what you want to tell yourself man, go right ahead and believe it. Given the music I listen to, it shouldn't be surprising that I legitimately like the stuff I make. But hey, some people are more easily shocked than others, I won't hold that against you.
