Hurricane Joaquin, gave us a litttle bit of a scare. Fortunately, it never broke the lagoon. You can see it's basically level with peoples backyards.. It's usually 4-5 feet below ground level.

The boat and jet skis barely holding on. One of the ropes holding our boat to the dock actually broke, luckily our neighbor was outside.

Yeah, that just looks like a normal dock. You north easterners are such pussies about hurricanes. You get hit by one and all of a sudden they're the end of the world.

Nah.. house is on pilings when they come we just chill or move the cars somewhere flood proof. If you saw it when it's normal height you wouldn't think that looks normal. If that was normal high tide would flood the block twice a day...

You should have taken this advice years ago, but, leave New Jersey.

never watched ncis or law and order

only cop show i ever really watched all the way through was the wire... i like the way they spend an entire season building a case on a criminal enterprise, with red tape, beauracratic bs, politics, ups and downs... as opposed to every new episode means a new flashy and absurd plot for a bizarre crime that gets solved in a single episode. also the cops in the wire are portrayed as a mixed bag of human beings as you'd imagine... and none of them are flawless but there's also some integrity to them and it's not some anti-cop **** da man propaganda piece.

my friend insists the shield is the best cop show, so i watched 2 seasons and enjoyed it, but got distracted and never finished it. supposedly it gets better in the later seasons... but even the early seasons i watched were decent so i will probably get back to it some day.

All the cops in L&O: SVU have baggage and aren't perfect either. That's the only one I'll watch and Criminal Minds.

Criminal Minds is pretty epic, but only because it understands that the cops don't mean ****, and the crazy serial killer cases are what's interesting.

I've been house sitting for my mother and of her dog I'm taking care; She's in New York on account of her fancy new job sending her there. S'been nice, better than sleeping in parks scared and in the dark. Why, in just a nights a couple of almost rape I truly ****ing was. As for tomorrow and tonight, well, truthfully and as far as I am to tell I have nowehere to dwell.

I've had a huge crush on her since Friends... and she's only gotten hotter.
