My first stand-up open mic set is going to be tonight. I'm making note of sets of 3, 5, and 7 minutes, depending on what they ask me to do at the show. Currently weighing the relative pros and cons of bringing an entourage: If I suck, at least I'll have someone laughing, I suppose. But then again, I need to learn to love the bomb if I want to continue doing this. I'll probably be transferring to a school in Chicago in the next 12 months for Psychology, so I need all the stage time I can get.

I have 35 cents and some marijuana to my name right now. I would like to smoke that marijuana sooner rather than later, but I am without a lighter. I might have to go rob a gas station of $1-$2 of merchandise.
