The wife ruined my plans to go and see The White Stripes thursday.
My plans were to buy a ticket off a tout outside the venue, but my wife had other ideas and declared that we were going to a wedding in York!!!
This was news to me!

Had to ring in sick at work, left the kids at the in-laws and off we went.
Booked ourselves into a victorian hotel, complete with 4 poster bed and jaccuzi.

Plenty of sightseeing, York Minster (awesome), the Viking settlement at Yorvik, York Dungeon and later in the evening went on a 'ghost walk' around the haunted sites of old York.

Wedding was yesterday, plenty to eat and drink (especially drink) followed by the reception at some old medievel hall...even the DJ was top notch!
Then back to the hotel to give the 4 poster and the jaccuzi another battering. ;)

I woke up at 11:13 am (that was a treat.) and came on the computer. And I pretty much been here ever since. Except me, ma, dad, n J went to the park and played some form of amateur soccer.
