I did some debate in high school. I won 3rd place at the first one I ever went to. My proudest achievement in high school. I may have had only 4 friends the entire time there, but still, I had that.

It was a long time ago, I don't remember. It was 7 years ago. I'll try to find out though.

I know it was back in 2008 and we used the high school national debate topic for 2008 which was alternative energy.

So you did policy (which, to be fair, is what most people think when they think of high-school debate). I wish I could do that. Kansas is supposed to be a pretty good circuit - that's really impressive that you finished third at your first tournament (that is, if you lived there then). I finished second at my first tournament, but that's in Michigan, and everybody in Michigan is terrible except for the team who finished first at that tournament.

Well the worst part about drinking last night will be nursing a hangover today while being at work. I hope people realize that i'm going to be moody pretty much all day.

Turns out there are also some other keys not working, including caps lock, plus, and volume up. My computer had been having some problems - when I would try to turn it on, the screen would light up for about three seconds, but then it would shut down. When it started working again, that was a pleasant surprise, but I guess not so much.
