Worked at one for a week. Ranks among the 10 or so worst things I've ever experienced. If you get stuck at the friers you'll want to kill yourself after an hour

I worked at one for two and a half years. You quickly become numb to the drudgery, but it's the time in-between that I dread.

Finished a project I've been working on for two and a half weeks, designed and built it from the ground up.
Turned out pretty ****in nice and almost passed every test without a part replacement, which is rare.

Mmmmm, matte black.

So what's it do?

EPOCH6 07-16-2015 02:20 PM

Allows one cellular carrier to break up their composite signal into its 6 individual bands and feed it into another carrier's existing system. It's for an indoor cellular system in Quebec. There are no active electronics in there, just a bunch of very precisely manufactured resonant cavities, signal plumbing, and yet they sell for around $5000 each.

Frownland 07-16-2015 02:21 PM

Wow. I barely know what any of that means. Nice on making some potential profit if you're going that route.

Oh, and I'm 99% sure I got the job at BK. I go into orientation tomorrow and start on Monday. I'm helping mom with vet bills for the foreseeable future, but with any luck, I shall soon be a stoner burnout just like the rest of you. I have little doubt that at least one person I work with will sell weed, so I'm excited for that at least.

Hell there's like an 80% chance even your manager will be a dealer
