I'm not sure what cognitive ability and suffering have to do with one another. I'd imagine suffering is suffering regardless of ones ability to interpret it. Far as rocks goes... Well no, but since you asked I did consider it but instead became slightly jealous. Just existing with no capacity for thought or feeling might be kinda nice.

Just can't get motivated today at work. Got a 3-level 5 burn room facility to model up, and even though I've done hundreds of these, I just can't find my motivation. I think I'm getting Cad Burnout. It's a thing. I've dealt with it before.
