Was just approaching my first year with the company and have been planning how to approach asking for a salary bump and here they go doing it for me, didn't even have to ask. Technologist on an engineering team. We design, develop, fabricate, install, and support cellular coverage systems for ISP companies like Bell, Telus, and Rogers in tricky places like inside skyscrapers, stadiums, mines, and tunnels. Basically I get paid to spend most of my time in here playing around with electronics pretending I work for Black Mesa. It's fun, most of the time.

We need to find a new supplier of RTD systems. I hate working with the crap this company put's out. Nothing works with the software they provide, and nothing is documented, so I have to hunt down drivers, load things on different computers and put everything together in a mishmash of drivers and components, but dammit™! This system now works.
