I'm never going there again. I don't care who's birthday it is.

We had our family day on post today. So much fun. I even got in the dunk tank and the Col. cheated by going up to the thing and just hitting it with his hand. Cheatin' old ba*tard haha

Por Que? We had a flipping blast and the food was great.

I spent several hours helping sell stuff at a local teen music festival. It was decently fun notwithstanding the torrential rainstorm.

Left my old job yesterday. Starting my new job on Monday. Today I'm just relaxing and watching fun dumb action movies.

Congrats.

My favorite fun dumb action movie to watch was the Italian Job.

Lost both games of my out-of-town doubleheader today, and my team has started the season 0-6 (although we won a couple exhibition games). I did pitch a scoreless inning to close the first game and hit a leadoff triple to start the second, however. Been up since 4 am, so I'm ready to drop.

I don't know if it's interesting to anyone else but this video contains a lot of footage of where I grew and lived for my first 18 years.

This is basically the only telly I go out of my way to watch. I love survival (influenced my choice of degree) anything with Ray Mears, Les Stroud, Cody Lundin, Bruce Parry... we don't have the same range of biomes or ecosystems in the UK so I'm really jealous of the US/Americas.

I have heard of Naked and Afraid, but not seen it. But I have seen everything from those survivalists posted above and Dual Survival, Tribes, Man vs Wild, Man Woman Wild and a load of other series.

I'll give it a go and report back in the TV thread in the media forum. Looking forward to it.
