So... I guess I'm about to go up to the store to buy bloody Mary stuff as motivation to pack. This is my last weekend before a new place and I'm totally unprepared. And totally irresponsible. And I totally just need a drill instructor to make me pack.

A guy from my hometown in Wyoming auditioned for a BBC African Wilderness Survival program, and they ended up picking him for the Discovery survival show Naked and Afraid. He is the local scoutmaster and I went to school with his youngest son all 12 years of elementary, middle, and high school. I don't know if it's interesting to anyone else but this video contains a lot of footage of where I grew and lived for my first 18 years.

:laughing: Building my own house has always been a dream of mine but my hands have gone a bit soft living in California the last several years. I've actually recently begun rebuilding my woodshop/workshop now that I have the space for one, so I'll get some calluses back on these hands yet.
