The thing is, I'm not the first person this kid's tried to mess with. I wasn't just gonna walk away and be like "stupid ass kid". No. I'm glad that I added to his list of various arrests. Whatever it takes to get this kid set straight.

At 15, I sure as hell wasn't running around hassling people.

When I was 15 I was lucky if my father would leave me alone in my bedroom with a boy - with the door open, mind. When I was 15 I was berated for having my elbows on the dinner table - if I so much as disrespected a stranger for any reason, my mother would have had my head on a platter.

Most kids these days are a bunch of disrespectful pricks.

A 15 year old kid who has been arrested several times for both violent and petty crimes isn't gonna better himself. Even the police officer I spoke with said that this kid was a lost cause.

Decent human beings are worthy of my unending love.

So, uh, how does him spending time in jail or in juvie or whatever help him contribute to society?

nah, I'd probably be let off.

the law tends to favor the word of an innocent-looking, crying young lady.

in fact I think the officer who was helping me out with my statement was well aware that I was swooning, and complimented me many times on various things.

he was a delight. I adore police officers. Never been hassled, always been able to count on them to show me the way to things and protect me when I needed it.

Death is a bit harsh but something's gotta be done with that freak before he has the chance to kill/seriously injure someone else. Some people are just completely useless. Absolutely, completely useless.
So you were right in your earlier post that people do probably, in general, see women as more vulnerable and feel entitled to their stuff, but I have to wonder, for somebody who makes an argument that consists of "you're privileged so you don't understand", how much privilege do you have to have to also have such incredible faith in the criminal justice system and in police officers?

Wrong. My wager is that you have never personally been attacked or experienced being violated in anyway. Because if you had of been, you would not be arguing the point you're arguing, nor would you be blaming the victim for a perfectly normal reaction. Anger is a normal reaction to the situation. Acting on it or not is the kicker. Clearly she did not, nor would she, I think.

I like you. Please stick around.

If he's not going to contribute, he may as well be removed from society until whatever it is that needs to take place in order to reform him has been done.

I realize that my status as a well-dressed, put together, twentysomething white woman with a clean record gives me the privilege of naturally being treated with more care than some other persons belonging to other demographics. But in how many other situations does this apply? Hardly any. So I'm treated favorably by the police. So what? I'm treated like garbage by the rest of society just because I'm a woman.

Hey douchebag stop telling me what I have and haven't experienced. Never in my life have I wished that anyone that wasn't a murderer or rapist would die and I never will, and anyone that does is disgusting. End of discussion.

Your reaction confirms exactly what I just said. You are speaking without any practical experience what so ever to back up anything that you're saying. Please refrain from insulting me, there's no need for it.

I guess I'm disgusting then.

I guess I shouldn't have bothered making that last post because I'm younger than you are then? That doesn't make any sense - there's no way you'd be this condescending and refuse to engage with the arguments being made if it were Batlord or DWV or someone making them.

You still have yet to say why and how the criminal justice system will "get this kid set straight."

That's nice, I guess?
