Yeah, I paid about 750 for the one I have now. It's perfectly fine, just too heavy and not quite fast enough for commuting.

Is anyone like me when they go on MB; you click "user CP", then "Your Profile" on the left, then "statistics", then "Find all posts by [insert username]", then go through each one of your shitty posts, find someone who replied to one of them, then send an even shittier post back?

Cause then I believe you're doing it right.

Just took a dump, and I have my laptop with me. Now I'm looking in the mirror, listening to my headphones, and I don't think the human brain is meant to look into it's own reflection while listening to music with headphones. It makes reality just the slightest bit surreal in a way I can't really figure out. Cool.

Got a clean scattante americano single speed fixed gear track bike. Just in time for the beautiful weather. It's a small frame. It's a 49 I think. clean bike though. doesn't weigh much at all. Super fun and fast. Fork tube and Stem set up in the picture is before I cut it down and lowered the stem to be flush with the frame.
After some Googling, I'd say that's a decent price. Some of the pro touring one's can go for a couple thousand, but since this is a fixed gear track bike, it's gonna be in a lower price range. Not sure you'd want a track bike for commuting though, since it's only got the one gear, and it's probably a low one for speed. Harder starting out until you get some momentum kinda thing. I wouldn't want that, but you could always get a derailleur, and set it up with some gears. I have a Diamondback Sorrento, and it's pretty light. They're just a bit more than the one you're looking at ($350), but it's more of the kind of bike I'd use for a commute to work every day. 21 speed, light, and good for on, or off road.

Decided to treat myself today to something exciting. Tracked down and ordered the Klaus Schulze retrospective with reviews of over 80 of his albums as well as a copy of another newly-printed biography, Deep Distance: The Music of Manuel Gottsching.

Both titles were limited run publications, and copies of the first title are already in the $100+ range, so I wasted no time adding them to my library.

Joined a private Berlin School group on FB and mentioned the purchase, and THE AUTHOR of the book thanked me!

I love the internet.

Spent the day cleaning out my office and getting ready to move everything over to my house. Kinda surreal.

On the plus side I found out I'll be able to get a nice tax deduction cause my company is "forcing" me to work out of my home.

Drinking with friends after having a broken heart, it's the best thing. Also, vanilla needs to do more sexy pictures and/or send them to my inbox.

Trying to find 2 people that can make it to Godsmack on Sunday night should really not be this hard to do. Some die-hard Blackhawks fans around here.
