I can't go into details but basically the owner/president of the company we are suing made a sworn statement to a Federal court a couple of months back that we've been able to prove is 100% untrue via an independent third party. The lie we caught him in is a major backbone of their defense.

We just got proof yesterday and will be issuing a subpoena in order to make it official with the court. As of this morning our lawyers are doing a happy dance over this. Huge nail in the coffin of the other company.

Good for you. Stick it to the corporate cashholes.

That's gotta be a huge relief. Reminds me of the time when one of my boss's and myself walked in to the office on Monday morning, and everything was gone. The other owner had taken everything and started the same company under a different name. Everything went into litigation, my job was on the line, and I had a youngster to take care of by myself. Scary times, but I held on, and eventually got a better job through it all.

So far, so good.
