Spoiler for Kind of like this one:

At the time I wrote that I hadn't seen the bike yet, and was just speculating based on the information I was given. I figured it was just a modified mini-bike. Holy crap was I wrong.

Spoiler for $40 Mini Chopper:
It turns out that this thing is made by the same people that made my dirt bike, but turn these things out under a different brand. It's a Chinese company, and I believe they put out a few other styles of bike, keeping the same basic 49cc motor with a 4 speed centrifugal clutch. This one has a battery, headlight, turn signals, and a horn, but needs some tlc to get them back in working order. The seat also needs some mounting brackets (I ain't riding it until that's done, since I kind of like my nuts where they are now). I believe he's gonna go with a purple tank w/darker and lighter purple flames ghosted through.

It started and ran for a minute, but there was some gunk in the tank, and the carb needed a bit of cleaning, so we started tearing it apart. We got the carb off, only to have my friend drop one of the pins (which is a key component) and have it roll into no-mans land on the shed floor. We searched for a good 2 hours for it last night until I called it and rode my **** home.

Since it's not a standard B&S motor, we have no spare parts for this thing, save for taking **** off of mine, which my friend kept alluding to but I wasn't having it. **** dude, I'm not the one that dropped it, ****tard. So, he's gonna have to order it if he can't find it. Anyway, it's a project bike, and it should be a killer little scooter when it's all said and done.

I've had the migraine aura for almost a week now. Happens to me every year at this time and in the late fall. I feel off-balance whenever I stand up after sitting down for a few minutes. It also reduces my appetite and my sleep, so I'm running on empty.

And I've got a performance on Saturday.

Its spring tho....
Edit: I read that wrong,

Love the **** outta my little dog but goddamn if she's not a little halfwit sometimes. Her and my roommate, who once again left the back gate open. Two and a half near soul-destroying hours later I find her covered in dirt at some very sweet family's home hiding under their dining room table. He and I are having a talk, this roommate of mine...

I'm off work early today due to our lack of product to process so I'm relaxing with hard cider and veg sushi.

Sorry I've been away so long.

I was just really overtaken by alcohol and pretty much out of control with my vices.

Now I'm on anxiety meds and I'm limited to cider and occasional champagne, but no hard liquor. It's easier to function and I feel that in my sobriety I'm able to be a more receptive friend to those I know who are recovering from alcoholism. I couldn't be that person when I was fucked up 24/7.

So yeah I guess I'm kinda back.

I won my talent contest (Life on Mars?), and the accompanying $100! In all modesty, it was a remarkable performance. My voice was in great shape. For the second verse, I ended up abandoning Wakeman's accompaniment and improvising my own. Just wish I'd thought to record it.

Aaaand my little brother's voice is starting to change, which kinda depresses me.

Just woke up from my Saturday afternoon nap. I'm liking my naps more and more lately.

Proud of you, man! Any recording of the performance? I'm sure we'd all love to see it.
