Having a great day. Got the apartment cleaned up. Cleaning the sheets. My mom got her dream job last night and she messaged me on Facebook basically saying:

"i'm buying you a new car in late March, i'll spend however much I need to. I want you to have a car in the spring and summer. You have worked hard enough so you deserve it."

I sort of merged most of what she said in one quote, but that's the general sense of what she's saying. I'm happy today.

Why is everyone getting a car but me? Mine is an antique.

I used to drive a '91 Plymouth Acclaim.

When we finally got rid of it, it was the dead of winter and it was smoking under the hood to such an extent that I had to drive with my head out the window to see where I was going. In -30 degree weather.

One of the worst days in recent memory.

I started off the morning by waking up from awful flashback dreams of a traumatic period of my life. I then went downtown to check out my local record shop. I dropped $30 on two albums: one 3 CD set with all five of Simon and Garfunkel's studio albums and one 2 CD set of David Bowie's greatest hits--altogether, over five hours of music. I've almost finished listening to them both in their entirety for a second time, trying to stave off the flashbacks.

Oh, and at some point during the past ten hours, my mom's car broke down. It's all a blur.

I just want to crawl into a dark hole and hide.

My friend has flashbacks of times he had when he took drugs and stuff, he says it's no joke at all, some are really serious. I sympathize friend.

Thanks.

For me, it's my parents' breakup last year. It was an awful time for me, because I was really the only thing that held them together for fourteen years. The worst thing is that my relationship with my dad has been tense lately, and since I inherited all my mental disorders from him, he's the person I need most right now.

I really need to find a way to keep my energy levels up aside from red bull, drinking more and more lately and that's no good. I work and stay awake fine when I don't drink them, but its so hard to ever be excited. Weekdays especially. I like feeling a little hyper sometimes, it takes me from functioning laid back robot to functioning laid back robot that says clever things more often.

That's the only way to ever tell if I'm pumped up. I get super clever and charming, no solo homo, maybe a little.
