Dystopian (you've probably noticed I'm a 1984 nerd). It's Brave New World.

One of my fave genres. Dude, we need to chat.

I only really started exploring it this summer when I picked up 1984, Fahrenheit 451, and Lord of the Flies from the library. They hooked me. However, I've discovered that if I read too much of the genre without variety, I get really depressed and cynical. You should have seen me after I'd read those three pretty much non-stop for a week. I didn't like anyone.

Maybe, but I didn't even like my angelfish. That takes some serious provocation.

They know damn well they're not angels.

You're right, she wasn't. She ate five cardinal tetras over her lifetime. Sadly, she went to the great aquarium in the sky this summer, but I got a baby a few weeks ago who's every bit as adorable.

I'll pick it up once I'm done with Brave New World. :) Funny thing is, I've never cried while reading. I've also only cried while watching a movie twice (once was music-related) and don't cry while listening to music. I did cry while I was playing the piano once. I guess I just don't show emotion much.
