I finished first speaker at my debate tournament! Unfortunately we weren't so lucky as a pair - they went straight to finals after prelims, and we would have made it to out rounds had they broken to semis.

Went to a local show tonight. Couple of decent bands, several really terrible ones. Missed my friends group who're actually pretty great because another friend got laid off and he needed some bro time. Tomorrow I'm having lunch with my godfather who I haven't seen for about ten years tomorrow (on account of his crippling alcoholicism and subsequent homelessness; he's sober now though) which will be great for catching up and all that. He's a musician as well so him, my dad, and I might go to a local music shop afterward for some jamage.
