I can't fly, I don't fap, never fire, since I need a place to live and don't have firearms, so what do you suggest?

Also, I love it when someone decides to turn on the vacuum right as I get done preparing for an intensive listening session.

Unexpectedly got today off. Slept in until about noon. Cleaned my room. Cleaned the house. Took the dog down to the beach which we haven't done in a while. Got home and made pasta risotto for dinner. Gearing up to mark some **** up tonight once my uniform gets out of the dryer. Really wish I had just a little weed right now.

Worst night, ever.

I work in a nursing home, and a part of our work involves ensuring that our residents are well cared for, and more importantly, alive and breathing. Awhile ago, new management came into power and felt the need to change things for no apparent reason, other than that they could. I'm not a part of the nursing staff, but a responsibility my department handled were the daily checks we did on residents who did not show up for meals. This is one of the tasks my new managers felt were essentially useless time wasters, so they put a stop to them. Long story short, myself and coworker found a resident dead in his room this evening, and it was painfully obvious that he had been there all night, and all day, rotting in his room. He wasn't on nursing services, so the nursing staff had no reason to check on him, and since I'm no longer suppose to be away from my desk preforming such useless checks, there was noone else around to make sure he was okay. I feel so damn bad for him and his family, and I know somehow my ****ty mangers will find a way to blame me anyways. Worst part is, he was a legitimately badass dude, and I'll miss him dearly and his awkward yet endearing come ons..

Nice, but she doesn't have enough meat on her bones for me. I like big bumpers on both ends. :D

So sorry.

I worked in two different ones a long time ago. I know exactly how you feel. It sucks on every level.

Yeah, those who have new power, and didn't earn it do stupid things to feel like they're cool. No fun at all for the guy or his family, and I'm sorry you'll have to deal with management's flack. Best wishes to you

Thanks, you guys.

Working in a place like that, you kind of get use to the fact that people you speak to on a regular basis won't be around forever, and eventually when they do pass away, it's like the emotional attachment you had to them disappears completely. Rarely do I shed tears when residents go, but it's different when I feel, albeit unreasonably, responsible for their neglect. I've been there nearly 7 years, but since I'm a lowly hourly working, I apparently know nothing and therefore my opinion and the work I do is unjustified.
