I'm taking my kitty to the vet for a check-up today because that particular vet prefers to see their clients before they neuter them.

...if the bill is over $50 for this nonsense I'm punching a bitch in the face.

Not sure if there's anything I can do about it though, I'm just a horny teen and that's the way my body/mind works

We'll did you scare this one off?

Today was an odd mix of happy, sad, and creepy.

Happy: My grandparents came to dinner, and as a Christmas present, my grandma gave me all her old vinyl, including almost every single thing Billy Joel has ever recorded. Right down to Songs in the Attic, Greatest Hits, and the Russian concert. Also an audiophile edition of The Stranger. Now I need to get a better turntable.

Creepy: My girlfriend believes someone is stalking her. I was inclined to believe she was paranoid initially, but she's very intelligent. She hasn't mentioned it to her parents, and seemed reluctant to discuss why. They really should know, but I'm reluctant to go to them behind her back.

Sad: I hang out with a 92-year-old WW2 veteran every Saturday morning. He was a tail gunner in an Avro Lancaster. Last two weeks, I haven't, because he'd been hospitalized for ten days. I spoke to his daughter today, and apparently during his stay, he got very angry and wanted to go home. The hospital staff sedated him and put him in a straitjacket. They put a 92-year-old veteran in a fucking straitjacket, because he wanted to go home. I cried for the first time since I was twelve thinking about it.

Not sure yet. I'm trying to arrange us getting together tomorrow, so I guess I'll find out soon enough haha.

The first is ****ing awesome.

The second is awful, and weird, and I hope you guys figure it out.

The third is super depressing. Poor guy. I'm sure the staff felt like they didn't have any other choice, but that's so sad. Also, good on you for doing that. I'm sure the old dude feels really happy when he sees you. Most people stop paying attention to you after you start turning gray, so he's probably lonely.

Today (with the help of my future mother in law, who absolutely loves her grandkitty) I took sweet baby Wembley to the vet for a check-up. He weighs 5 pounds and the vet gave him two shots. It cost me about $100, which made me rather ill, but his daddy went half with me on the visit, so my bank account looks a little better now. :)

I really love the staff there. They loved Wembley and thought he was a very well-behaved, healthy, beautiful baby boy.

I'm a proud kitty-mama right now. :)

Don't even know why I'm telling anyone this but I got dumped over a text message this morning. She ended the message with 'happy holidays'. Lovely.

Today, rain hit my part of the world. If it keeps up overnight, we'll have a green Christmas, which rarely happens up here. The weather was wet and dismal, so I stayed indoors and read both A Christmas Carol and The Shepherd cover to cover. Went to church in the evening. I'd forgotten how beautiful "Silent Night" sounds when sung by an entire congregation. All my Christmas shopping was done, so I got to sit back and watch as people ran around madly in all directions. :D
