And you fell into it gloriously. Really, I've never seen it go this well.

I don't know what your problem is, I love racks. In fact, I can't get enough of them. A rack on my right, a rack on my left... heaven.

Last winter, I walked in and found thick grey fur and blood all over the trail. Followed it twenty feet and discovered the carcass of a deer, only a few hours old. The grey fur belonged to wolves, who must have been fighting among themselves after the kill. Needless to say, I immediately turned around. They can have somebody else for their next meal. Next day, I purchased a mini firework/flare that makes a crack like a gunshot, which is supposed to scare aggressive animals off. Here's hoping I never have to find out if it works.

I've been in hospital, recuperating from delivering our gorgeous little son on Tuesday evening. The highlight of my day was when my darling came to see us. A quiet day today, with another to follow tomorrow. Then it's discharge day on Saturday, and it gets wild again!
