my day sucked, my joints are stiff, but I have gratuitous amounts of liquor and a 3-day weekend. :D

I'm really hoping it's as good as they say. The music scene there is POPPING. But thank you man, if ever in the neighborhood, you have a place to be sanctioned :)

It's not just music man, the whole place is very culturally progessive. And, from what I've heard, the food scene out there is marvelous and blooming! Much like Portland and San Francisco. S'all rumors though, you know. But sometimes, sometimes man, sometimes those rumors don't lie. And when they don't, everythang is allllllllllllllllllllllllllright. Better than alright, really. S'****ing good. So if Austin TX is (and I doubt it ain't) up-and-coming-of-the-most-stellar-towns-to-live-in, GET YOU SOME GODDAMN GOOD EATS MAN. And indulge in that righteous music scenes. Bishesdunevenknow, man. They dunevenknow.

Ahhh I do enjoy eating, and culture, and righteous music scenes. The rumors are from everyone though, so they have to be true. I have to ask though, to anyone whose been to Austin or lived there, is there a high Hispanic population in Austin like the rest of Texas? Very curious.

My rheumatoid arthritis is slowly beginning to piss me off with my guitar playing.

After lunch, I joined a few friends at the sled hill, then went out to Tim Horton's for hot chocolate with my date. Actually ended up kissing her after. :)

Really awesome day.

Slept in, walked down the snowy street for a hair cut- didn't get it, because the owner of the barber shop had a "family emergency." Decided to get a cappuccino at the little cafe next door, which turned out to be an excellent idea, as it was delicious. Helped one of my house mates move some furniture, and then went to the Minneapolis Institute of the Arts with a new architect friend of mine. We spent all day there and had a great time (holy crap so much incredible art, so much international art! Ancient Egyptian walls and Neolithic ceremonial jade daggers! Uuuuggghhhhhh so gooooood), and then came back home to make spaghetti with the same dude. My girlfriend will be here soon to hang out with us and eat dinner. It's been an amazing day! :)
