My friend out of the blue said he was coming up to visit from San Diego. Good times to be had this weekend.

Thanks for the good lucks, but it was some bull****. The ad totally gave the impression of working as shop bitch for the knowledge, which I'd be down with, but turns out the dude wanted $2500. Maybe that's normal, no idea, but not feasible for me regardless.

Plankton I'm sorry for your loss man, dude had some skills. I always judge a tatooist by shading and clean lines and looks like he was awesome at both.

And no I've never tattooed before, although I did cut the sign for Saturn and Gemini into my ankle then pour ink on it when I was 14. Its barely visible now. I will say I'm more motivated nowadays, and making more money, so probably gonna get a starter kit in the next month or so.

Huh? So you'd have to pay to look over the dude's shoulder? That's BS.

No I'd definitely learn something, I'd get homework and be told things and stuff. But yeah too rich for my blood. The ad was misleading. The guy kinda rubbed me the wrong way anyways, he had a contract all ready to go and was acting kinda tweaky. Hadn't even seen my artwork.

The fact that he hadn't even seen your artwork, yet had a contract drawn up, makes it seem a little unusual. Good call, Carpe.
