Had a weird experience yesterday.
Went golfing at a course that does weddings. Went out when the reception was getting started, played nine holes, came back and there were ambulances in the parking lot. Turns out one of the older ladies who attended the wedding had a heart attack and basically died before she hit the floor. As we walked past the ambulance, we saw them doing serious chest compressions through the back window. It was heavy. I wish I had a camera in my eyes because what I saw was just powerful. From my viewpoint, all the doors to the bus were closed and I could only see through the window and to the right of the bus was one of the bridesmaids. There were other members of the wedding outside but from my angle she was only visible, standing next to the bus, with a look of utter shock and sadness, holding her hands to her mouth in silent prayer. It was a powerful image of life I'll tell you that much. I just can't imagine what that was like. Having the best day of your life coming to a screeching halt like that. I felt and still feel horrible about it. That's life though. I hope those people are doing okay. |

So yesterday, my GF gets a call from an old friend, which didn't really concern me much. She's talking the usual BS when all of a sudden I overhear her mention a name. The name of a person I vowed I would destroy if I ever see him again in person. This person was the BF of my daughters Mother, and tried making sexual advances to my daughter when she was 15. He's my age. I hadn't seen him since before the incident. So anyway, I tell my GF that if he were to show up, there will be blood. Her friend says "No, he's with me right now, but I'll drop him off before I come over" as I'm pleading with my GF to just drop the whole thing. This ****head shows up by himself, and I'm thinking things are ok... until I go outside and see the other ****head sitting in the passenger seat of other said ****heads car. I lost it.
The windows were down, so I stuck my head in the drivers side window. I asked him wtf he was doing around here, and he starts to try and tell me that he never touched my daughter and that I'm angry over nothing. Keep in mind that this ****head has done similar things to my friends daughters too. So, I tell him "You better get out of the car" (so at least he can have a fighting chance), and he proceeds to keep telling me he did nothing. I walk around to the passenger side, and tell him again "Get the **** out of the car" repeatedly. "BAM!" *screams* I nailed him in the eye. "BAM!" *screams* I nailed him in the face "BAM! BAM! BAM!" "Get the **** out of the car!" By this time, he's curled up in the passenger seat in the fetal position. So, I try to bust his kneecap. Bad idea. I almost busted my knuckle. He's a bit bloody, and I reach in and tell him to "NEVER EVER **** With My Daughter" as I walk inside and proceed to tear into his friend who had no idea what had just went down outside. They leave in a flurry of tire spin as ****head #1 tells ****head #2 to "Just shut up, we need to get out of here". A little while later, the cops come by. I listen to the story they had been given by FH#1 & 2, and tell them "Yes, that was me." So, they put me in cuffs. I tell them what had really happened while at the station. They give me the royal treatment, and commend me for sticking up for my daughter as well as the others that have been groped. I make bond, and as the cops were escorting me out into the front lobby, they asked me "Was it worth it?" "Absolutely"

I appreciate the support guys and gals, but I'm really not a violent person and it's got me a bit off kilter. I know where this ****tard lives and pass by his parents house (yeah, he's 47 and living with his parents, and I won't go into all the other ****) every day on my way to and from work, but I've just managed to avoid him for 5 years. I didn't really want to cause him any physical harm, but just wanted to scare the crap out of him. Something in me snapped as he was smirking trying to weave his weasely little yarn. Kind of like Ralphie with Scut Farkas.
I'm not even letting my daughter know about it... yet. I need to sort some things out in my head first. I teach compassion and understanding, not violence and revenge.
