Ok so these are about the only ones I can get away with because this is "John Doe." But this particular John Doe, has been identified, and is buried. However his hands washed up before the rest of him did. But, when they figured out that the hands belonged to the handless corpse he was already in the ground and the family chose to donate them to the ME's office. So this is as close of pictures I could take.

So did you actually get to touch No Hands McGee's severed hands, or were you restricted to looking at them in the jar?

And I'd like to have my body donated to science when I die. Burial is creepy and a waste of space and cremation is fine, but isn't at all useful. I'll have the head given to my family though, so they can stick it on a mannequin's body for the funeral.

Thanks for the spoiler tags *******. No those hands were preserved.
I wasn't allowed to touch them either. I would have liked too. No camera's past a certain point.

I love it when you talk to me like that!

@Carpe yes my dear. It was actually quite gruesome. For tox screen they kinda just drive this huge ass needle through the eye, and suck occular fluid into a tube. It juices... yeah... No picks of that. Two reasons one I was not allowed, and two because I have respect for the dead.

Unlike some people on this board who say they have seen better hands... *Cough*(Dj)

It's a dead body, not the collected works of William Shakespeare. Corpses are totally overrated.

Your study is so awesome, makes mine look so boring! I actually wanted to do forensics years and years ago so I'm kind of jealous.
