Inspected a nice 1 bedroom apartment today in the main city of Wollongong, and it has a backyard! I put in an application this evening, hope I get it but there were many others also at the inspection.

This has been a tough year for me physically speaking mostly which weighed down on me mentally to be honest. Then the service I'm with said my lease is up in July not more than a month ago after saying earlier I could get it renewed, which would have bought more time for recovery and getting **** together. Been looking profusely but haven't had any luck. Rentals go in a flash.

Why is this an address 1236 1/2.

Half an a house or what?

Bad storms last night around here. Tree's/Power Lines down, and stop lights out all over the place. I made it through the maze of all this to work, only to find out that we had no power. So, back through the bull**** I go, and made it home for a good nap. Ahhhh...

Thanks Mother Nature.

shush, I used to live at a 1/2 address.:nono:

It was just an addition to the property that was converted to an apartment on the second floor and a business on the first floor.

^ Me too, it was a mother-in-law type addition

I thought mother in laws usually get stuck in the shed in the back of the house that has a special name.

That's pretty much what it was Deej. It was a tiny one bedroom bungalow about the size of my current apartment, behind the landlord's house

I'll bet it's Harry Potter's house.

today I bought a vintage jewelry box (I think it might be from the late 1950s) and the feelings that washed over me when I cradled it in my hands were incomprehensible. the way the insides gently dip from age, the soft interior, the feeling of knowing that someone as young as I (at some point) put their treasures in here, years before I'd ever had a reason to myself... there aren't words to describe it.

the clearest word I can use is "comfort" and I couldn't tell you why. it just made me so happy.

All I'm gonna say is, try to put yourself in my mind, and then reread what you have written.
