I'm right there with you Roxy! My Dad just went in for a triple bypass yesterday. I'm still waiting for his new wife to call and let me know how it went.

I'm so exhausted from yesterday. Some genius decided to voluntold me for the energy team when I am not that hype of an outgoing person. I had to just fake it for the entire process. I decided to be a part of the puppet team that was holding different props and doing sign distribution/collection for the rallies and march that went down in DC yesterday. Props team had to be up at 7am to load the props into a truck and we were just always being texted from a text loop to leave rally's early and do different tasks. Even though we were doing a street theatrics type of performance in the middle of the march we also had to join in with being hyped up and shouting the chants. The only reason I kept up with the chanting is because of this cute girl V that was next to me holding up a prop of a fat cat CEO.

We did surprise actions on the Koch Brothers and GE, marched over to the white house for an Immigration rally then marched over to meet up with another group protesting against "the other NRA(National Restaurant Association)" then up in front of the capital hill for the end.

Huh..

didn't peg you as an activist Dj, i is impressed. :thumb:

the last rally i went to was yrs ago when our governor laid off thousands out of their jobs, everybody took the streets in the biggest protest ive ever seen here.

Yeah I have been to other rallies and actions but this DC is the biggest one I went to. Two large groups joined together, National People's Action and Domestic Workers of America. Felt like around 2k people were there.

She called just after posting that. He's doing well, and in the recovery process. He should be back home in 7-10 days.

How your Pops doing?

Up raising hell,
Naw he's good, he no longer thinks that, people are trying to kill him ,or that he is dying.

But it should be a speedy recovery as long as he follows the doctors orders .

So, I've finished my written A-level's today. These 3 days were all in all honestly exhausting.
My neck and arms feel numb, my head is exploding and my eyes have nervous convulsions.
Anyway, that's done and I have 1 more month of preparation for the spoken A-level's.
I'm sure I'll be around more often these days, I missed hanging in plug.dj with you all!

Good to hear.

I know there are some people here that have had terrible fathers, and their might even be some people who have great fathers but don't appreciate them, but I love my Dad, and I don't want to lose him just yet. We've only just found each other a year ago after 13 years of being apart.
