I usually meet up with a buddy of mine, and we set up a small camp in the middle of a forest, and have a beer or two. Then I gotta make it home with out getting caught again.

Pretty much the same **** I was doing thirty-something years ago.
Still sounds killer. Yeah Ocotillo is basically all wide open terrain, its a blast. They also have lots of hidden tracks that have triples and stuff a little bit beyond my skill level. They also have a huge sand dune similar to Glamis. Its the perfect spot really, and where we camp there is only us for at least ten miles. Some people get a little uneasy out in the middle of nowhere, thats what guns were made for though.

Hidden tracks are like finding two prizes in the cereal box. Happened to me a few times when I was a young lad, where we'd take an "All-Day" trail and try to make it home before dark.

Almost time for me to saddle up. Ride safe Fred!

Discovered somebody I drink and chat with occasionally at a local pub has committed suicide. Not effecting me all that much as he was just another guy on the outskirts of my real friendship group, but it's still pretty shitty. Had two kids (not sure on the age, but probably below 16) so pretty much feeling bad for them right now.

RIP Lee.

The older I get the more it saddens me that someone so young would take their own life. The older I get the more I value life and all the joy it can bring, good times or bad.
