It's Friday, I leave work at noon, it's 70 degrees (F) and sunny, my dirt bike is all tuned up for the summer, and I have the whole day to ride!

Life is good.

Going riding this weekend. Gonna probably be the last trip out because its getting too damn hot in Ocotillo Wells. Lots of water consumption will be had.

Too hot? I wish. They're calling for a chilly weekend here, so I need to enjoy at least 70's while I can for now. We've had a bit of rain, so my biggest gripe is all the mud. I'm gonna try not to get too muddy, but well, you know...

Still is fun to mud it up sometimes. Ocotillo is about as dry as it gets, lots of wildflowers at the moment which I enjoy taking photos of.

Haha! I googled Ocotillo to see where you're riding. Nice area. I've never ridden on such open spaces.

When I head out for a ride, first I gotta make it to the trails w/o getting caught by the cops (I take side roads, only about 1/4 mile from my shed), then when (if) I get to the trails there's swamps, streams, trees, and the occasional deer jumping out in front of you. I usually meet up with a buddy of mine, and we set up a small camp in the middle of a forest, and have a beer or two. Then I gotta make it home with out getting caught again.

Pretty much the same **** I was doing thirty-something years ago.
