This really sucks man, but as others said I hope you did consult a doctor.

I've had epilepsy for ten years now and that all started with a random seizure out of nowhere, obviously. It was really out of hand for a few years, I was having a few a week. It's nowhere near as bad now but doctors have never really been able to pinpoint the cause. Over the years I've been able to notice it's more frequent when I have things to do or potentially stress about. Just recently I had one on the day I started a course. After over a full year of being unemployed with little to do - and completely healthy. Seems to large a coincidence.

However, my niece has also had one in recent years and never had one again. My cousin has also had a handful of seizures over the last few years but she works herself into the ground and doesn't take care of herself. She doesn't eat properly, she's too skinny and often dehydrated.

So basically my point is there's a good chance a doctor would be able to tell you exactly what caused it and you can prevent it from happening again, or that it's a total one off which is somewhat unsettling in some ways but not a problem you would have to deal with going forward. But it can be so unpredictable and so difficult to diagnose that it's most definitely worth getting checked out!
