This morning I played hockey for the first time in two years. I'm hoping to get back onto a team but my skills seem to have vanished a bit. :(

So in Canada not only do actual living, breathing people play hockey, but girls do too? WTF?

Yeah and I learned this year that people in Canada are actually good at basketball too. As evidenced by Andrew Wiggins.

:laughing: lmao, yeah. Unfortunately women can't make it as far as men when it comes to professional hockey. If you're a woman and you're a good player, you might get to the CWHL but it doesn't get a lot of attention and I don't think players get paid. If you manage to make it onto a men's team, you probably won't go higher than major junior. A lot of women continue to play on NCAA teams well into their 20's as well, because there's no other leagues to play in. It's frustrating for them when they see all the shittiest players in the NHL signing million dollar contracts.

you're supposed to hand in your essay for the 11am deadline on Friday.
It's 5.30pm, Friday evening, and you're just starting it.
