Ive stopped caring about the weather, because its going to remain terrifyingly cold.
SO TODAY I GOT OUT OF THE SHOWER AND MY POOFY ASS CURLY HAIR DECIDES TO BE POOFY AND TERRIBLE, OK? I'M GETTING MY ASS TO THE BEAUTY SUPPLY SHOP AND GETTING A THINNING RAZOR. I HAVE TOO MUCH DAMN HAIR

I would actually like to start to sing in a choir. There's nothing sweeter than a human voice. It's just that I'm not sure about how good my voice is, or what is my range, thus says: how can one know what is one's vocal range? For example, am I tenor, or baritone, or something in between? Yes, I have tried that YouTube video, but I'm not sure if it's correct.
And for I know nothing about music theory, I'm really getting lost.

I have recorded my voice a lot, and I like it, and all people I know say I have a decent voice, but you'll never know if they are just being polite.

I can sing songs like this without problem, means that without too much straining etc: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1e3m_T-NMOs but I can't get much higher than that.
Or I can,but I'm not sure if it sounds good anymore.

So with these examples, the top and the bottom, (without that it becomes uncomfortable to sing, cos I guess those notes do not count) would someone advise me which voice type I have? Am I tenor, or tenor-baritone or something since I have no clue?

I keep going through phases of feeling really lonely like I have nobody around me who prioritises me when I'm blatantly surrounded by loved ones. Dunno what the fuucks wrong with me. Think weed is actually depressing me. So much **** fuucking with my head. College, money, work, friends, money, boyfriend, weed, money.

I know that feel. Definitely try cutting down or even better stop smoking for a few weeks at least and just see how you feel. You would be surprised how you fill your time with other more beneficial things.

Also the feeling of being lonely when you are in a relationship and have friends I can relate to. I think the only way to fix that (which I am slowly getting better at) is to be more open with people especially your significant other. I never told anyone anything about myself or how I was really feeling and I think it made me feel like I was constantly by myself even though I was surrounded by people who enjoy my company. Good luck.

This describes me to a T, I'm really secrective (well not really secretive) and don't tell anyone anything really, it's not that I deliberately do it, I just don't know how to bring these conversations up or approach them or who I should tell etc, I honestly would love a break from smoking but I don't think I could, I smoke very little anyway maybe 2grams every 3-5 days depending on what weight I'm actually given. I hate feeling like this, it's like I could cry at nothing all day and I'm the complete opposite of that, I'm the type of person who's never sad or down.

I have an employee who sucks at his job. I demoted him from the position he was originally hired for four months after he started, cut his hours in half after the holiday and have written him up several times for failing to complete tasks effectively or efficiently. I am not the kind of manager who fires people without giving them my support and the opportunity for improvement - I'd much rather teach someone how to be better at their job than simply replace them (though that would be so much ****ing easier).

Anyway, this employee recently told a coworker he has PTSD, news which recently made it to me and my assistant manager. Apparently it effects his short-term memory, and he explained to the other employee that this is why he has a hard time completing tasks, etc etc.

I'm at a loss about what to do here and very, very frustrated. He's well past my "four strikes and you're out" policy, but my GM has told me he's a "special case" and I'm not allowed to let him go without permission from her and our HR representative. Meanwhile I'm constantly cleaning up after his mistakes and he's just taking up space (and payroll).

Do any of you have experience with PTSD? Does anyone have some insight here? I'm sympathetic to his situation but I also have a store to run. Blaaaaaaaaah.

This might shed some light on things for the legal aspects of his situation.

The Americans with Disabilities Act: Applying Performance and Conduct Standards to Employees with Disabilities

Did he fill out an application?

If he did fill one out, did he mention his disability in relation to being able to perform his job?

If not, then it's grounds for dismissal. Case closed.

The bolded is the important part to remember. You have to take into consideration if he's affecting the way you run your store / if he's affecting the way business should be going. If it's to the point that you aren't able to fulfill your duties, he may have to go. It's a sad line to cross because you either have to go with your feelings or you have to go with whether or not you want your business to stay strong.

He did fill out an application and no, he didn't disclose that information - I had to hear it from a third party.

If it were up to me he would have been gone a long time ago, but I was told by my GM explicitly that I was not allowed to even write him up without consulting her.

Legally, you're in the clear. It seems someone has a soft spot for this guy, and I think what Ki said pretty much sums up what the situation is. If he's seriously hurting your ability to do your job, then start making a CYA paper trail, then after some time, show the results to someone who is in a position to handle it properly, other than that... I don't know what to say other than start looking for new employment.
