Corporate bosses strolled through my store today.

My department/entire area was the cleanest and prettiest it's ever been.

Today is my birthday and I'm at work. You shouldn't have to work on your birthday lol.

Happy Birthday!

Just do the least amount of work possible.

I went into my local newspaper location and asked about freelance work today. I was expected to be turned down due to the fact that I don't have any experience but they editor said he'd like to see a writing sample on Monday. I told him they were going to be movie reviews but he said that's fine.

I'm both nervous and super excited.

That's great, Butt!

I used to write for my hometown's newspaper when I was in high school, back when I was pursuing journalism. It was the first time I was ever published and I was in charge of the sports section

That'll be fantastic for you seeing as you are a big movie buff. Good luck!

Thanks. I'm so goddamn nervous. I keep going through the "why the hell did I do this?" conversations in my head. I've never had my writing judged like this before. Monday is going to be such a stressful day. That great thing is that I go to my therapist before the paper so I hope my doctor can calm me the **** down.
