Does she make gluten-free food for you? If so then I shall assume you are a liar. ;)

No. She buys her own food, I buy my own food. I eat her food whenever she feels like preparing something like pasta, or tofu, or rice (just regular rice). We each spend our own money on our own things.

So I was right. It's okay *wink*. I'm sure you love your girlfriend's food *wink*. I'll bet it's just delicious *wink wink*.

Gluten free food isn't necessarily bad, but I think that gluten allergies aren't real. No offense to ladyislingering, it just sounds like a fad to me.

It sounds like it's an actual thing, but uncommon enough that anyone who tells you they have them can be safely assumed to be full of ****.

Yup, my parents are Dr. [sic] Oz-watching, middle-aged health nuts and even they think gluten allergies are largely a crock of crap.

Yes, because i'm sure she loves to eat food that makes her so sick that she ends up in the bathroom for however long. Definitely sounds like a fad to me. I'm assuming you also think people with IBS are in it for "the fad".

You assume too much. I never said ladyislingering was lying, she very well could be a part of the small population that actually has a sensitivity to it. You just see so many people thinking that gluten is evil and when they eat something that has (or that they think it has) gluten in it, they feel the symptoms of gluten sensitivity only because they are aware of the symptoms.

She IS part of it. Just trust me on that. As for your second part, that is something I can understand. Seattle is starting to push toward less gluten in their food. We also just had a vote on whether or not people should be putting the labels on all foods to show what's in it. Unfortunately, it didn't pass. However, had it passed, I think people would be going even crazier about the things they eat.

I, on the other hand don't give a **** and I eat whatever I want.

Keep in mind that I live in a suburb in San Diego and work at a mortgage company, so I get to see the cream of the crop of white people bullshit. Kind of gives me a bias on the subject.
