Bought new pillows, did a bunch of laundry, ate Subway, LiL finally got her new phone in the mail, and we sent a Christmas package. It's been a pretty good and productive day.

Tonight I confirmed that Friday nights in rather than spent in the pub are most definitely not for me. Depressing as hell.

just looking at Victorian post-mortem photographs and reading up on infectious sicknesses that killed those people.

Trying my best to avoid this heat. Could be worse though. Been talking to a mate in Aussie and he said the temp there has just hit 46 degrees c

Woke up at noon after working a 6 day week. Really wasn't so bad, just was hella tired and went to bed late because plug parties and stuff. Bopped around here for bit, played some video games, made myself an omelet and coffee and then took the dog out. Picked up my new glasses. If the Milo logo for Descendents had long shaggy hair and wore a beanie I would look like the Milo logo for Descendents. Then I went to the beach with the dog and got a sweet burrito with bell peppers and avocados and it was delicious I ate the **** outta that burrito no lie yo.

Now I'm here. Boppin around again.

It's been a good day.

EDIT: I forgot to buy more beer and rum. Worst day ever.

more fitting room nightmares:

Spoiler for rude, lazy customer:
the other day I watched a customer place a couple unwanted items in another customer's cart right outside the fitting rooms when there was a near-empty rack less than a step away from where she dumped her stuff. I was too tired to say anything at the time, but if I ever see it again I'm probably gonna lose my shit.

Spoiler for tweaker scum won't be coming back:
Yesterday I infuriated a repeat-shoplifter/tag-switcher to the point where I don't think she'll be coming back. She's seen me a few times; she's a very transparent criminal and a junkie (probably a heroin user) and like every shoplifter/suspicious person, I followed her around, made many security calls over the PA system and informed the cashier to "check her tags" when she approached the register. No surprise, the cashier did find a switched tag, and tweaker-bitch raged out the door. She chilled in the entryway for half a minute, making eye contact with me over a rack. I mouthed to her "fuck you" and smiled.

Spoiler for tweaker bitches will not escape my gaze:
A few nights ago I had taken over the fitting rooms after one of my coworkers went home and a very jumpy, suspicious girl was trying some stuff on (with a heaping basket, definitely tag-switching or stealing). Typical tweaker. I decided to freak her out by talking loudly about shoplifters just outside the fitting rooms, and as she was walking toward me to put a few things on the rack I rubbed a little sand in her wounds (speaking to another customer who was also passively taunting her) by saying "they really think we don't know - they're a stupid kind of people". She raced to the register. I followed her and let her cashier know that she was a filthy criminal. She switched lines when a backup cashier was summoned - but having no time to warn him of her, I told him to go back to what he was doing and she ended up in my line instead. She was remarkably nervous and I took a little extra time staring her down with my coldest gaze. I don't think she'll be coming back.

recent nasty finds in and around the fitting rooms:

poop/poop smear
sticky unknown substance
apple core
used shoes that smelled like fritos
