Just got back from a few days in Queenstown, New Zealand. Lovely scenery but a very expensive place - also found shopping in Dunedin expensive too. Any New Zealanders here finding the cost of living fairly high? I'm from Sydney and stuff here just seems a lot cheaper.

Yeah I kinda got that Queenstown would be expensive because it's nothing but a mecca for tourists. My uncle lives there though so didn't have to pay for accommodation but groceries and clothes are really expensive.

^^^ That's not good. I know that over the past year, loads of New Zealanders have arrived here looking for work and if they can't find work they can sign on the dole. Good luck to them!
