I missed it :(

i packed basically all day, im leaving new york on tuesday to go back to texas :]]]] and my mommy gets here tomorrow !

I showered, picked up four of my friends, and me, them and my boyfriend went to ozzfest. There was some pretty crazy crap going on there.
Someone was at the wmmr radio station stand and he said something to the effet of wishing oasis was there. It got so quiet, you could've heard a pin drop. And thens everal people started laughing. and the guy that said it blamed it on the beer or something like that. The pit was kinda cool.

I recently just got back from my friend's house and we exchanged some lyrics and whatnot so we can get to work on some songs later. And I'm looking at some of her lyrics and I already know she's gonna have a field day editing mine. Oh and she sometimes doodles in the margins and she has the phrase "rise against socks my rocks" written down. and a heart drawn underneathe it. I'm gonna tease her about this for ever.

Of all things I saw my mom today. She gave me some money and a list of places I have to go. She ordered some new furniture as a gift or something. It's mostly small things like a coffee table and some vases. Oh and as a welcome back to philly type present, she made me some potato salad and miso soup. And my favorite: shark. She got shark for me. I'm so in love right now. But it's something of a bribe because she wants me to spend obon with the family. And apparently Higan as well. I sometimes wonder what my mom is thinking. I've never spent higan with the family. Why start now?

At any rate, I did have some fun at ozzfest and all but. . it isn't too much my thing anymore.
So my friend that i mentioned earlier has tickets for the Muse concert tonight at the factory. It's spur of moment. I guess this is just a girls night out type of thing. At any rate she'll be over in about an hour or so and she's bringing a bunch of her clothes with her. She says she wants me to dress and look like a girl and not try to down play my femininity. So I plan on having a ton of fun later on tonight. Although I wish we were going to see somebody else perform. If I have it my way we can just hang out here tonight instead. Frankly my legs hurt too much for another concert. That and i was in the pit and some guy more or less rammed me from the front. The guy was massive.

But yeah. . .
That's about it really. And this potato salad freaking rocks. I wish I had some rice noodles though to go with the soup.

She does realise that shark is verging on endangered species and (generally speaking) not easily farmed, right?

And I was under the impression that Ozzfest was being renamed

I couldn't help it. The shark thing.
besides I'm pretty sure not every species of shark is on the endangered species list.

And Ozzfest has sucked for the past few years. I only went because it was something i planned on doing with some friends

And i didn't see too much of sharon or ozzy. I was more interested in the second stage performances

I went shopping today and got awesome make-up :D

Shopping alone or shopping with friends? Shopping alone is yawnsville. Shopping with friends is no end of fun, but my bank account would disagree.

I love it at the minute.

I used to hate it until I discoved some rather hot shops in Belfast.

Luckily I manage to avoid it until My shoes fall apart or my clothes are beyond repair.
