I did a 5k run today for cancer!

I actually feel like I accomplished something awesome. It was for my mother, but I still feel great about it.

Myabe you should do another run for the 49er's record.

Niners having a rough start.


Yesterday I went to my first Sancocho. It's basically a gathering of the community to share energy, food and positive thoughts. There was a potluck part of it, a dj and some cultural dances that happened near the beginning. There was also a meeting about worker cooperatives and that's the main reason I went to it. I'm trying to research/gather more information because I'm in the process of helping start up 2 to 3 worker cooperatives in my local community.

The Sancocho was held at this community lot in the Bronx that used to be a dumpsite for many people but it was cleaned up and has an urban garden there now.

At least we don't make it all the way to the Superbowl only to lose hahahahahahaha....wait.

my parents are now going to be absent a lot and this is the first night of many, and i am petrified of being alone. I'm just too.... tiny and defenseless to not be terrified. but hey! my mom made me lentil soup! i ****ing love lentil soup!

so i decided that if I'm going to be alone all of the time I'm going to use it to be messy and creative and drunk and talk to my dog. I'm going to actually get **** done!
