I've been away for awhile! Between the vacation and being killed by masonry, I also just recently landed that job I talked about awhile back. I started Monday. So far so good.

Congrats on it! I was wondering what happened with that other job you were late for.

You mean he got the job he cried at? Looks like I'm bringing a pair of tweezers in my pocket for my next interview.

I'm getting paid to stick tags on Christmas ornaments in a warehouse, listen to classic rock radio, and talk rock with some cool old dude.

Yeah, I think that's the same one.

There's a new guy in the office and his name is Dick Titman. I'm serious. I had to hold in my immature reaction when he introduced himself.

Got a record in the mail, and received a dozen or so of my grandfather's old jazz LPs. 1 of them being a Miles Davis record! He threw in some charlie byrd as he knew I was a big fan of the likes of Django Reinhardt's and his acoustic stylings. I've got a lot of records to go through...

But seriously, that's fantastic. Wish I were you right about now.

That made my day. I think I would have replied "is that really your name? LOL!".
