I can't help but think they'll tone the remake down, considering the movie deals with a good deal of incest.

From the trailer, it definitely looks toned down. Plus I just don't like Josh Brolin as Oh Dae-Sue, I wonder what his American name will be.

Spike Lee is what really makes me want to see it. I'd love to see his touch on the story.

My weekend pretty much sucked.
I had a quiet drink with a friend Friday which was good, and then had more planned for the rest of the weekend which a pretty bad seizure on the Saturday afternoon took care of, and I've been forced to pretty much do nothing for the remainder. I hope I at least feel better in the morning because as of right now, I'm still hurting, muscles still aching etc, and this could be a really ****ty week. |

Thanks Blaro.
The seizure itself, while it quite obviously sucks, is nothing new. I've been having seizures now for nine years. I usually encounter a period of recovery time afterwards, and it isn't uncommon for my muscles to tense or have experienced trama and therefore can be quite sore afterwards. This particular seizure was annoying though, as the recovery time was short, in terms of having migraines and feeling sick, which is good, but the muscles in my arms and legs are really sore. It actually hurts to get up out of a chair or out of bed or, for that matter, any scenario where I need to use them, extend them etc. So frustrating. |

Thats the question.
There seems to be no trigger I or a doctor can nail down for it. There never has been. Around a year or 18 months ago my doctor said he was wondering if what I was having these days might not be more blackouts than seizures. They definitely were seizures at one time, but he's thinking that may not be the case and without getting into it, I can at least see why he may be wondering. Anyway, he told me that as seen as I can feel a seizure about to occur (I can now, but thats another recent change in my behaviour) he asked me to lie down whenever I can and he says that if that stops it from happening, we could be looking more at blackouts, and blackouts could be stress and blood pressure related. Certain things about my behaviour, and changes in my behaviour, would suggest that he could be right. However I had this seizure yesterday when I was already lying down, and far from stressed about anything. |
