I got paid and pre-ordered the new Shpongle album, and got a Shpongle tanktop sent to my friend. I was supposed to get it to him for his birthday in February.

Well, I woke up in a crummy mood, but was then going to get a coffee with a friend of mine I haven't seen in about a year (she had moved away and then I was in Nicaragua). I got stuck in an insane traffic jam for a long freaking time on the way there, and when I finally said to myself, "Screw this," and decided to call the whole thing off and go back home... I hit a truck.

As I was pulling off into the right lane, I was paying attention to the cars coming at me, rather than watching the dude in front of me, who stopped suddenly (you know, because of the traffic).

The guy was in a bigass work truck and didn't even get scratched. I, on the other hand, came away with a screwed up front bumper and a light fixture threatening to fall off.

The guy I hit was, thankfully, super chill about the whole thing and let me go without us having to call the cops and all that **** (I mean, it wasn't his fault, and he didn't have any damage).

I never did make it to see my friend.

So my afternoon's plans were ruined, and more importantly, my car is more broken than it was before and will require repairs. Which cost money. Which I really can't afford.

Needless to say, I haven't had a great day. I calmed myself down a little bit with a cappuccino, doughnut, and a book I've been meaning to get to, and have been slamming my drums about as hard as I can for awhile now... so, I'm feeling better than before, but still. This is ****.

Do you need to see it from a boat :/? Cause that's just ruined it for me if so.

I've been snorkeling and scuba diving in the reef plenty of times before, you don't have to see it from a boat :)

Box Jellyfish stings only kill you if you panic and get caught up in more of their tentacles, if you just keep swimming you'll be fine, the stings are apparently painful but bearable.

Thats sucks Blaro but it could have been a lot worse. I look at ****ty days as a way of boosting my **** taking tolerance level. Next time you have a ****y day maybe it wont see so bad because you handled the last one well.

That sucks man, I nearly hit a Jeep in front of me earlier today while merging from one freeway to another. Stupid fucker decided to wait with all the other idiots in the right lane rather than use the left merge lane that went on for another half mile.

Smoked up quite a bit, went out and got a shrimp tempura roll, watched Oldboy with people who had never seen it, blew their minds. It was a fun day, but I was so blazed at one point I had to lay down for awhile, I don't like doing that shit at other peoples' houses. I also got my 3 developed rolls of 120 film back today, I appreciate the hands on service of this place, even though most of the shots I took were fuckabouts, and I'm pretty sure I'm missing a few shots from a festival I was at, which I hope weren't indecent, because I don't remember half of the shit that happened that day. I'm about to finish "Hell's Angels" by Hunter S. Batshitcraycray, and start on "Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy" (which a member of this forum so graciously gifted), and I'm now listening to Arovane(also due to a member).
