I havent read High Fidelity either, but I love the film.

Hehe, I was referring to that exact comment made towards you....by Freebase maybe? He had a point, for sure.

AWWWW MAN. It's been way too long since I've been to a cemetery. They're my favorite places.

Got a lot of stuff done today; mangled my knee on the transit somehow.

No, it's my mother's husband who's attached to the dog, but we gave the dog back to the humanitarian society where he can have a better environment, hopefully better than the one here.

My mom was attacked by the dog without provocation, and she knew that it would be best for the dog to go back to the humane society where he could be properly handled, lest he actually wound someone he would definitely be put down. We all cared for him, and we tried training, but my mom's husband pretty much did everything you weren't supposed to do with a dog while training him, especially a pitbull. My mom was really broken up about taking him back to where we got him, but it was the best thing to do.

We won our case, and put together eviction papers. My mom's husband will be out of the house by the end of the week. It's not over yet, and I don't know what will happen in the coming days, but I hope it doesn't get any more messy.

I'm sorry you had to let your baby go. Sometimes it's all for the better. Ki and I had to leave a cat behind (she was a stray but we took her in for some time) when we left California. It always hurts when these things happen. I hope someday she'll rescue an animal that she can keep safe from all harm. She sounds like such a sweet lady, to love that dog so much, especially after having been hurt.

She'll find the right one. That goes for both pups and dudes. Good riddance to her husband; he sounds like a total schmuck. Hopefully she'll be safe after he leaves.

If there's a word to describe Rob in the book, "cool" would not be it. "Gloriously uncool" perhaps. Of course that's two words.

I actually liked the movie a little better than the book, though the book was great too.

Well I hope you feel better soon! There was a lot of traffic there yesterday, for no funeral, people waving at the bizarre girl with sketch pad and huge head phones...then the 4 pm hobo train rolled through and I thought I better bounce before I had to mace someone or something... (I don't own mace, but I thought about macing them anyway...)
