I think we were both lucky, because he didn't leave a mark on the car, and after about 20 seconds of standing in the road, he up and ****ed off in the sky. I sure hope he's okay, I didn't get close enough to see him, but I bonked him pretty hard. If he's okay, he's going to be one sore dumbass bird tomorrow.
Was it Don Henley or Glenn Frey?

It was Timothy B. Schmit. Nobody was too upset.

Lucky it wasn't Joe Walsh: he'd have totalled your car, dusted his wings off and just continued on his way! Bad-ass!

my day has consisted of driving my dear to work, rocking out to ABBA, watching a couple documentaries (one on a woman's survival of Auschwitz and her forgiveness of the Nazis, and another on the way digital culture is shaping human existence), and a creeping feeling that everything is just ambulating aimlessly around me (I think the psychiatric term for that is 'depersonalization' or 'derealization' or something like that).

in other words I really need more to do.

Hope everyone had as good a mothers day as I did. I went to Busch Gardens rolling FACE, and let me tell you, it was certainly an experience I'll never regret. My mom never suspected me of being under the influence of narcotics cause I can really play it off when I'm near her.

But honestly, taking ecstasy before Busch Gardens has to be in my top 3 greatest experiences in my life so far. I highly recommend trying it. Any amusement park.

Helped a friend move all weekend. Then played quite a few hardcore games of Beersbee (or Poles), where I almost busted a few fingers. Took off a couple finger nail ends though. Ouch.

we're having some really terrifying weather here in Seattle.

at least, it was a torrential downpour near Kent on my way home.

lightning has struck at least one tree, which fell behind me, so I guess death by tree wasn't part of my life plan.

I met Don Henley at a Spice Girls concert when I was nine. He bought me a glow stick.

Mental, I left Seattle at midnight last night and it had been lovely weather.

Well today, it was overcast, then it rained, then it was sunny, then it was torrential, then it was overcast, then it was sunny, then it was sleet, then it was sunny, then it was hailstones, then it was torrential, then it was sunny, then it rained.

No ****ing joke.
