Today was a pretty boring day. Woke up with a bit of a hangover but luckily that subsided after I fried up some bacon and eggs. Listened to some music and did a little bit of writing and reformatted my laptop because I couldn't find whatever it was that was making it so slow. Made some ramen with some leftover pork and then practiced banjo for awhile before deciding it was time to not spend my entire day inside and went to a bookstore. For whatever reason I started feeling a little lightheaded and sleepy so I went back home and just kind of laid on the couch like a zombie. Made an early dinner but that didn't seem to solve the issue so I think I might be getting sick, which serves me right for restarting my smoking habit. Watched Game of Thrones and played my acoustic guitar for a little bit and even wrote the sappiest chorus melody (it only has one minor chord in it).

An odd day, besides feeling the onsite of a potential cold not a wasted day, but I really need to start going out into the world again, I really do sometimes feel like I've wasted the first half of my 20's.

Tried this place last night, gonna hit it again, but just for the Mongo Ipas on tap. Not an original concept as every city probably has one, but not bad. Can't wait for the NHL Playoffs got tickets to the Ducks 2nd game at home.

Woke up, now I'm drinking some delicious Nicaraguan coffee. Soon I'll leave to go get a typical Nica haircut... which will look something like this.

It'll be worth it, to connect with the children. It's for the children.

Anyway, after that I'll grab a quick bite to eat at the local fried chicken chain, and then off to go empty a warehouse of rotting food. It was all donated by some Canadian charity, but it was defective or something, because it didn't keep, to say the least. I expect to be nastier than a Grimer after this. And yes, I did just use a Pokemon reference. No shame.

I just Googled her and under the "People also search for" part it had people like Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy, and Charlize Theron. Who knew?

I don't think I've ever seen a post of yours which didn't mention either food or drink. I guess you must be eating and drinking the Nicaraguans out of house and home

Well I'd come in from work, go upstairs, help her out of bed and down the stairs, then she'd be stuck there till she wanted to go to bed that night, so what was I going to do? Leave her there on her own? But man, the things I had to suffer: Keeping up appearances. Soaps like Eastenders and Coronation Street. 321! Seriously, 321! Nearly killed me.
Now she's downstairs permanently in the new extension built for her so I don't have that guilt as much. I don't work now --- quit to look after her fulltime --- so I have more time and I read to her twice a day, as her eyes are not the best. Can watch TV but that's about it, no way could she read...
