I wanted to tear my teeth out. I didn't know what I wanted to do. And I want to remember it. I never want to forget it. I never want to forget. And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that. |

My day was pretty good.
The highlight was when I went to the bar and some guy ordered smirnoff's Two sips and we all knew wht we had for dinner: 16 oz steak smothered in onions, potatoes and a gravy sauce, curly fries, michelob's ultra light, and string beans. I almost feel sorry for the guy. I don't think the place'll ever smell the same again. That's about it

So I dont have bronchitis, its as simple as pharyngitis with swollen glands, constriction of the airways and super sinus problems. Thought this morning I went to the doctor and got antibiotics so I should be okay in a few days. Damnit.....ozzfest only two days away! Bitches! I also worked 6 hours today, but I get a three day break now, hurrah! I hate full time...

I love you Fal.
Today I had a bit of a bad hangover, I was out having a laugh with a couple of old punks from the 70s last night. Good times.

Woke up at 8.30, recorded down two songs to a tape recorder that I'd woken up with in my head, had a shower and walked to the lab, buying breakfast on the way (chicken pasta). Got in and found me and the student I'm supervising couldn't do the experiment we wanted to do today as somebody else was using the machine we needed, so we mixed a few solutions up and then went outside and sat on the grass and soaked up some sun for a while. Went and got a greek salad sandwich for lunch, came back and sat on the grass a bit longer. Sorted out a few more lab things and then drove to my bandmates houses to pick up their equipment to take to a recording studio. Along the way I had to pull over and move all the equipment around because the bass drum fell on top of me while I was driving!!!
Went to the studio and set up the drumkit, drum mics and drum levels. This took over 3 hours to do. The process took me to previously unchartered territories of boredom. Our drummer then tried a hell of a lot of takes on one song and I'm not really sure what happened the rest of the evening because after the first few takes I switched my brain to power-save mode. Since then I've been having trouble flicking the switch back, so I think I'll go to bed now. Goodnight. P.S. I hate recording sessions, I really do. Its boring as hell watching somebody else play the same song over and over. I'm starting to understand why so many lead singers top themselves... Its not the drugs, its not the pressure. Its the recording sessions. |

my day: Got out of bed at liek 11:30am, hung around the house a bit, then went out with my freind heather for a few hours. We drove around for the first half hour then went and got two chocolate milk ice caps, then went and parked up town, then drove around again then these two creepy 16-17 year old guys drove upt o us making random conversation.. it was so funny, they just came up when we were parked, saying hey nice car you have there then talked until we could find a reason to leave. So then once we got away, me and heather went and got micky d's, ate it and went home. Sense I've been home I've called my bf, and then went outside smoked a joint and then came in the house listened to some appleseed cast and brand new, and taking back sunday.. only now Judas Priest is on. So yea and then I wrote a song.. so this leads me to my question, does anyone on here write a lot when there stoned? and I'm not asking about singers and stuff from old classic rock bands, cause i already know what they were like then.
