If I don't wanna do that then I get to work as a store level manager where I get the joy of having to deal with all the same bull**** as the workers except now I'm responsible for all the brainless deadbeats working for me too. Unless you're somehow dealing with human waste then there can be no more soul sucking job than a McDonald's manager.

Well just shoot for not burning the fries then. And lots of salt, people are counting on you.

oh yeah there is.... you could manage a Long John Silvers....

Fast food manager in general is a **** job is basically what I'm trying to get across. And at least with LJS you'd get to eat some semi-decent sea food rather than cardboard masquerading as hamburgers.

very true, but there is an upside...INCOME... COMING IN... Just out of curiosity do you have any call centers where you are? I dispatched tow trucks for a couple years... Pay was fair and it had it's upsides... humorous phone calls from people stranded, or service providers.... I left smelling good too...

I'd rather eat **** flipping burgers than sign my life away as a manager. At least then I can fool myself into thinking that I might find something else. Once you start down the managerial road, that's pretty much it for you.

I was told by someone that I would make a good manager.

I was a dispatcher/driver for some time. In the south suburbs of Chicago, right off the expressway. It was a bit intense at times when people wanted their cars back since we were a police pound yard. Good thing the owner was crazy, and handled most of the ornary ones since I was only 18.

People can get pretty out of control indeed. I had a guy in front of me in line shatter the window with a hammer that wanted his car back. He was handcuffed and escorted off by police and obviously had to pay more money for his car at a later date. I ****ed up myself and parked in a no parking zone, so I ate up my 127 dollar fine and went on my way. Live you learn.
