I started partying before I was 18 so I was already drinking in pubs and clubs (I used my sisters ID when needed) so it wasn't much of a change. Why on earth did you stop drinking by 21? If anything my antics seem to become more exciting as I get older.

I started binge drinking really young, like 13 as all my mates were older than me (16+), couldn't get in anywhere either once they'd turned 18 which is why I was so excited when I was 18 . But by the time I got to about 19 I was already bored of it and getting into fitness then by 21 I'd stopped getting shitfaced completely. Still drink on occasions but nowhere near what I did before, tbh I probably started too young and took the piss a bit. Can't deal with hangovers anymore either, always get the feeling I've let myself down

Girls can get in piss easy when they're underage. That used to wind me up no end.

Nope. I had never heard of them before. I guess they're from Pittsburgh.

I didn't think so. I think they may even be broken up, but they certainly would not be well, if at all, known in the US...

And as usual the band didn't get invited to the after party

Following on from my news about being taken on as an unpaid writer you can read my first two articles (more to come) here. This site is more concerned with TV and movies (Exo, you should apply: they'd probably snap you up) so not so much about music, but I'm working on that.

Anyway, if you do check the links let me know what you think and feel free to post a comment, good or bad.

Shame on you, Freebase. I wouldn't have believed you capable of such callous insensitivity, I really wouldn't.

DJ. it's not just a joke about a typo. When you consider the fragile state of mind or heart the three of them may have been in (US says it didn't upset him; fair enough but that does not excuse it) it's a badly-chosen moment to make any flippant remark. I know if I came on here and said for instance I or someone I knew had cancer, AIDS or anything I would not expect a smart comment that made light of the message being posted.

I don't agree that I'm making a mountain out of a molehill: I think it was an incredibly insensitive thing to do, given the tone of the post, and I personally if it were me I would be insulted. If no-one is then that's fine, but my opinion of Freebase just took a serious dive.

There's a time and place for joshing and scoring points off people; when they announce serious, possibly life-changing/threatening news is not, to my mind, that time.
My opinion of you hasn't changed at all.

That's funny, because I actually typed "Welcome to Opinion Land" in my post before I edited it.

But seriously, welcome to Opinion Land.
Enjoy your stay.
