****, I don't even know what words I should offer in this situation.

Keep a positive attitude and kick the **** out of that cancer in the meantime.

A lady I used to work with has been recently diagnosed and her future is unfortunately looking bleak but she doesn't let that get to her, she's living life to the fullest and does what every makes her happy because her future is so far uncertain. She is an inspiration to people with cancer and I hope you can kick this ****ty illness to the kirb. Onwards and upwards my friend.

Turn away. I worked there on the same half-hearted assumption that I'd stand no chance of working there and it was the worst 6 months of my working career. Ultimately it's your decision, but don't expect to be able to talk to anyone about anything other than the most mundane shit imaginable. I am just happy my time there pre-dated the Justin Bieber/Twilight craze.

If you're not good at folding clothing, your time there will at least give you that handy skill.

Dude, you are not a young attractive girl though. Think about if life was like Highlander and you got to be paid to be Connor Macleod all day. That's what working at a clothing store is like for PYT's.

I registered for classes next semester today

I gave up on college last year because my asshole ex severely triggered my depression and I was at the point where I would have had a mental breakdown if I had continued on in school so now that I don't have him holding me back, I'm gonna go back at it and get on with my life instead of being stuck in the same place. I'm proud of myself for doing this, and again for leaving him. All he was doing was keeping me from reaching my true potential because every goddamn thing had to be about him or else I "didn't really love him."
